After spending a lot of my time on sculptures during the last few weeks I felt like making some functional pieces this week. I made a big 'patchwork' bowl and some vases in a strips-of-slab-coiling technique.
I guess I'll have to take a better picture when back in the workshop next week.
A week or so ago I made this house-jar with stiff slabs;
I love it, it reminds me of the little home I used to live in while in Leiden (NL). Am not so sure yet how to finish it so it will just have to wait for a while.
